Freezer Rooms

Freezer rooms for high-value products—like blood plasma, biologics, reagents, and others—must maintain extremely tight volumetric uniformity of temperature, despite being subject to high traffic and frequent door openings. As temperature set points go down and the value of assets goes up, the complexity required to design environmental rooms that meet these conditions intensifies.

Our team of experienced engineers has designed and installed thousands of freezers, many of which are still in operation today. They meet the most demanding specifications and are built to last, offering an average operating life of 25 years.

Our freezer rooms are suitable for a wide range of storage applications in a variety of industries, including:

  • Bulk raw material and finished product
  • Vaccines and drug product
  • Depressed temperature stability and shelf-life studies
  • Hazardous material
  • Media, chemical, and reagent holding
  • Chromatography and analytical separations
  • Plasma and blood product

Versatile Freezer Room Design

Customized to meet your unique size, temperature, and control system needs, our freezer rooms combine maximum flexibility with precision and durability. We offer the latest environmental control technology and redundancy features, as well as advanced dehumidification equipment to minimize frost buildup.

  • “Thanks again for the support in getting us to this stage eventually – finding an incubator that meets our temperature spec has been a challenge for us for the last few years and this is a significant milestone for the business. Hopefully we will have more good news to report in the new year.”

    Project Engineer, Major Biotechnology Manufacturer

  • “During a recent external audit, an inspector requested the PM/Cal documents for the stability chambers. It was my pleasure to give him the nicely presented binders. I could tell he was impressed.

Thanks for the great service you have provided for us over the years.”

Teresa P, Taste Texture and Health, DSM-Firmenich

  • “Environmental Specialties has always provided me with great service. All the individuals I worked with were knowledgeable about ES products and services.  They were highly skilled. I relied on ES for pm, calibration, qualification, repair, chamber sourcing and consultations. I interacted with a lot of your employees.  The feedback was always spot on. They were always smiling and supportive even in the most difficult situations. ES is a great company with good people.”
